A family run country pub nestled in the Tamar Valley offering a fantastic view. A range of excellent local ales and good honest pub food.

We offer a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and have a private function room for special occasions. 🐾

We are carrying on a tradition started many years ago by Ron & Tish when they owned the pub, we are banning the word "Christmas" for the month of November
If you should use the C word you will be fined £1, there is a sizeable jar on the bar for fines to be placed. All monies raised will be donated to Cornwall Air Ambulance

The beginning of November already, we're not quite ready to put the Christmas tree up yet, but we do have a lot of Christmas events to let you know about so be sure to put them in your diary

4th & 5th Wreath making lunch - plenty of spaces available on Friday 4th

6th Christmas light switch on, join the South East Cornwall Singers whilst they sing songs around the tree and browse our Christmas fair with some delightful & unique gifts 🌲

9th Craft coffee morning 10.30am ☕️

15th Christmas bingo 🎁

18th PorkChop with a C***r Banjo playing for us 🪕

22nd Christmas raffle & Valley Voices singing carols 🎶

24th Breakfast with Santa 🎅

What a night!!! In fact what a day!

Thanks to everyone that came along for breakfast this morning, to those that dropped their pumpkins in for judging in our carving competition, and to everyone that came along this evening!!

An effort was definitely made, and we truly appreciate it

The Mighty Howlers were incredible as always (we're already trying to book them again for next year)

Thank you for making the night what it was, we're now off for a nap before the sunday carvery shift at 12pm 😉

Well health & safety went out the window this afternoon when we held our conker contest

Huge thanks to Mark for organising, Christopher Draper & Rosie for the conkers, and Pete & Di's bazaar for the laces

15 people risked swollen knuckles to compete for the coveted conker necklace, with Nick Ponting becoming this year's champion 🏆
