Can you believe it is already June? This month Cacu Lucero is at GTCollective on Mon 8th. NB TangoMac is at a different venue (St Andrew's East, Dennistoun) on Sat 13th. Paisley Tango also have a special World Cup Milonga on Sat 13th. Rebel tango have a practilonga on Fri 19th. Glasgow Tango's Midsummer Milonga is on Sat 20th - please book by 13th as the venue (Glasgow Art Club) need numbers for catering. Practica de los Angeles is Sunday 21st. Tango Bar is at Bacchus each Wednesday evening, and TangoMac is back at Kelvin West on 20th and 27th.

May gets off to a busy start with Rebel Tango’s May Day Milonga and Garua Tango Club’s concert at RCS both on Friday 1st. Later in the month, Paisley Tango’s Milonga is on the 16th, Alt Tango Tea Dance on 17th, and Practica de Los Angeles is on the 24th. Tango Bar, TangoMac and the Monday Practica all continue weekly. April is upon us. Shelter from the storm at the Paisley Easter Milonga on the 4th. Sort your best moves out at Practica de los Angeles on the 26th. In between, we also have TangoMac each Saturday and Tango Bar each Wednesday. Glasgow Tango have a new term of classes including a brand new beginners course starting on the 22nd. The GT Collective have a night off from classes on the 6th but their practica is longer instead. There is plenty to give us a spring in our tango steps this March: an Alt Tango Tea Dance on Sunday 8th, Paisley Tango Spring Milonga on Saturday 14th, Rebel Tango Practilonga on Saturday 21 (note change of date), Practica de los Angeles on Sunday 29th and tango singer Noelia José at the Glad Cafe on Tuesday 31st. The Collective are offering an online class with Fransley Marcel on the 18th. TangoMac is on each Saturday afternoon and Tango Bar continues to welcome visitors and locals alike on Wednesday evenings. Find out more on the Tango in Glasgow website.

There's lots to do this February. TangoMac practica has a change of venue to St Andrew's East on Sat 7th only, and then is back at Kelvin West for the rest of the month. Visiting teachers Fran and Laura are at the GTCollective 7th - 9th, including a milonga with performance and live music on the 7th. Valen-Tango on 14th will be a very special night of live music and dancing with Garua Tango Cub - get tickets via Eventbright. Practica de los Angeles is on the 15th, and Tango Bar is on at Bacchus every Wednesday evening. Check with Rebel Tango for the revised location of their practilonga on 27th. Happy New Year 2026. It's all go in January: Glasgow Tango, Paisley Tango and the Glasgow Tango Collective all have new blocks of tango classes starting. TangoMac is on each Saturday from 3rd January and Tango Bar returns on Wednesday 7th. Paisley Tango's New year Milonga is on Saturday 10th. Well, there’s late and there’s very late. In your almost too late December tango digest, the news is that there is no Tango Bar on the 24th or 31st. However TangoMac is on as usual on Saturday the 27th. Wishing everyone a very happy festive season. www.tangoglasgow.org

November is packed with highlights, including two concerts involving tango music: Glasgow Chamber Orchestra on 23rd and our friends Garua Tango Club at the Glad Café on 27th. Visiting teachers Bárbara and Agustín are at Paisley Tango on 28/29th to deliver a weekend of workshops. Paisley Tango Milonga is on Saturday 15th, Práctica de los Ángeles on Sun 23rd, and the sell-out TangoMac Christmas Milonga on the 28th.

Better late than never, here is what tango is coming up in Glasgow in October. Saturday 11th is a busy day; first the re-launch of TangoMac Practica in their new venue at Kelvin West Church, then Paisley Porteno Milonga in the evening. Practica de los Angeles is on Sunday 19th and there's an Alt Tango Tea Dance in Bearsdan on the 26th. Tango Bar continues weekly on Wednesday evenings at Bacchus. There are a variety of classes running on different evenings. Check out the Tango in Glasgow website if you want to learn more.
