Max’s Bar & Grill opened in 2010 and since then our aim has been to provide a friendly environment for people to enjoy fresh, locally sourced and home-made food along with an excellent selection of beverages. We constantly have 16 draught options as well as a wide array of bottled beers and ciders from well respected brewers including; Williams Brothers, West Brewery, Fürstenberg and Weihenstephan

to name just a few. To add to this we have a choice of over 100 premium spirits and our gantry is one of the best stocked in the city, offering you a great choice. We offer quality house spirits too which are a very respectable £2.50 each including mixer. We offer over 30 cocktail options covering an array of recognisable classics as well as a variety of cocktails with a modern twist. On top of that we have many shooters for you to try including the popular Tequila Verdita. We have an excellent selection of quality White, Red and Rose wines as well as Prosecco that will satisfy your palate as well as your bank balance. If an alcoholic drink is not what you crave we also offer a selection of fresh juices, non-alcoholic cocktails, a range of teas and coffees as well as fresh fruit smoothies that can be made gluten free should you require. We are open 12pm till 3am every night seven days a week and the bar is soundtracked by some of Glasgow’s best DJ’s all weekend and regularly during the week.

We're throwing it right back today! 🗓

In May 1985, our venue's basement played host to one of the most memorable gigs in Glasgow's music history 🎸

During their famous Busking Tour, The Clash stepped away from the big stages and into the intimate surroundings of The Rock Garden, giving fans the rare chance to see one of the world's greatest bands up close.

It's moments like these that made The Rock Garden a legendary part of Glasgow's music scene, and we're proud that this building still carries so much history today.
