North Star Spirits Drops Ultra-Rare Navy Strength Gin: Only 88 Bottles for the Entire Planet

Glasgow’s premier independent bottler, North Star Spirits, has shattered the status quo of the spirit world with its newest, most elusive release to date. Breaking away from its legendary Scotch whisky curation, the company has officially unveiled a high-octane Navy Strength Gin at a roaring 57.2% ABV.
Issued under North Star’s highly coveted, boundary-pushing “Obscurities & Curiosities” branding, this release is defined by an almost impossible level of scarcity.

Only 88 bottles have been produced for the global market. Statistically, that leaves just one bottle available for roughly every 80 million people on Earth—making this expression one of the most strictly limited gin allocations in modern history.

High Proof Meets Uncompromising Scarcity

True to the “Obscurities & Curiosities” philosophy, which focuses on raw, peculiar oddities and unadulterated expressions, this Navy Strength liquid is bottled at 57.2% ABV, the gin pays homage to traditional maritime strengths, offering an explosion of concentrated, oils-rich botanicals that slice effortlessly through cocktails or command total attention when sipped neat.

Are you up for serious shenanigans during the Campbeltown Malts Festival 18th - 24th May?

Festival-goers are invited to drop by throughout the week as three of Scotland’s most respected independent whisky bottlers come together for a celebration of exceptional whisky, great company and festival atmosphere.

Expect exclusive bottles, special festival drams, good tunes, plenty of banter and a packed week of whisky shenanigans from three companies widely regarded as among the very best independent bottlers in the business.

The Hydro Shop takeover will serve as a relaxed and lively hub for enthusiasts, collectors and curious drinkers alike — a place to discover remarkable whiskies, meet the people behind the labels and soak up everything that makes Campbeltown Malts Festival so special.

Alongside exciting releases from all three bottlers, visitors will also have the chance to purchase a very special and extremely limited bottling, created by vatting together whisky from Decadent Drinks, Little Brown Dog and North Star Spirits.

The release will be available on a strictly first come, first served basis.

Other bottlings will have proceeds going directly towards local Campbeltown charities and community causes.
