Hi folks, a wee guided tour of the daily illustrations/sketches I managed to do over 100 days. I’ve been brave and did a wee voiceover to accompany the reel - lots of erms and aaahs but hopefully it gives some context 😁 Thanks for joining me on this journey!!

I think the Artemis mission & crew are giving people life at the moment - a beacon of hope & positivity in a maelstrom of unrest, hate, division and war that’s wreaking havoc on our one & only planet. Holding on to a hope (delusional?) that more forward thinking, open minded & enlightened times can be ours again in the future - at some point. 🙌🏻

Yay! Despite experiencing the most challenging time in my life to date, somehow I’ve set a new personal record for the and have managed 27 consecutive days of a postcard sized black ink illustration.

The 30 minutes or so of drawing a day has become a sanity saver for me. I’ve kept things simple and that seems to be the key to consistency. A lesson for life. Onwards towards that 100 day goal 🙌🏻

In challenging times I am once again finding comfort & solace in art. Months & months of one inch square doodles are forming the basis for a daily sketch in black ink/pencil as part of the challenge.

I’ve been overly ambitious in the past with the goals I set myself for the 100 days and have never managed to complete it so I’m deliberately keeping it monochromatically simple. Wish me luck folks ❤️

Hi folks 😊
It’s nearly the end of January - can’t believe it. I’ve been working flat out at Celtic Connections in my front of house role and loving every minute of it but I’m definitely ready for a break! I have managed to sort a limited print run of my new Valentine’s card in between concerts and it’s now available in my Etsy shop. I had fully intended to add a shop to my own website by now but life has taken over!

Happy New Year Folks! I hope you have all had a good start to 2026.

I’ve been keeping myself busy and distracted from the news by working on a new card design with Valentine’s Day in mind. ❤️ The card features a well known local cat, aka The Mayor of Burnside, and his latest love interest on a coffee date at Grain & Grind - one of our fantastic local coffee shops. 😻😻
