Join us for Sunday Roast this weekend, and enjoy roast chicken supreme with sage stuffing, roast pork belly with burnt apple sauce, or a roast sirloin of beef.

All served with roast potatoes, hispi cabbage, honey glazed carrots, cauliflower cheese, a Yorkshire pudding and rich roast gravy.

You may also order a combination roast of pork belly and sirloin of beef, if you have a great appetite!

Or perhaps a roast butternut squash?

Yes, you read that right! This half term, children eat for only £1, to include a children's mains, a fruit shoot, and an ice cream for dessert 🤩

This offer is valid from Tuesday 26th May until Sunday 31st, one May Half Term Childrens £1 bundle meal with each paying adult meal! Pre-booking is required to redeem this offer.

Winding down after a busy bank holiday weekend… What a fantastic first few days. From all of us at the Valiant Sailor; we thank all those who joined us. It’s been truly heart warming to hear your feedback on both the refurbishment and our favourite dishes on our soft launch dining menu. Seeing the pub full of life again has made it all worth it.

We still have so much to share with you in the coming weeks. If you haven’t visited yet, we would love to show you what we’re up to, a link to reserve a table will be in the comments, but we welcome walk-ins too!

☀️ BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND IS HERE ☀️

After a month of refurbishment, we’re super excited to be opening the doors to old and new faces tomorrow. The pub is looking fantastic, we’ve made a few changes to the drinks 👀 and we’re ready to introduce an elevated menu (we’re phasing this slowly and will be posting it up soon).

Dining reservations for Sunday roast are officially full, thank you to everyone who’s joining us ♥️

With the amazing weather forecast, we still welcome drinkers in our bar area or beer garden 🍻

On Monday, we’re planning to spark up the BBQ in the garden, confirmation will be posted on the day!

After weeks of transformation, we’re ready to welcome you back to the Valiant Sailor from Sunday 24 May ✨

🍽️ Proper pub Sunday roast
🔥 Bank Holiday Monday BBQ (weather permitting, and no need to book)
🍻 Catch up with friends over drinks in the garden (outside seating is available for walk-ins, with QR ordering for those who don’t want to walk to the bar)

Our opening weekend is expected to fill quickly, as we limit availability to get things right from day one, tables are now available to reserve, but we welcome walk-in drinkers, too!
