Fri 6th November Sam Brothers is back at The Blind Pig! Described by Acoustic Magazine as “Always Compelling...”, Sam Brothers is a young Canterbury, UK based Singer-songwriter whose performances bring to mind the Soho and Greenwich Village Folk Scenes of the 1960’s. His bluesy guitar, stompbox and harmonica filled performances are deeply rooted in the music of greats such as Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Bert Jansch, John Lee Ho**er and Fairport Convention. He has toured in Japan, Germany and The UK recently. He has also performed as part of The Pretty Things.

This weekend at The Blind Pig, Nasi & Three are teaming up with their friends at Folkestone Community Fridge.

They’re rescuing pumpkins that would otherwise go to waste and turning them into their Labu Masak Lemak; slow-simmered pumpkin in turmeric coconut milk, sweet, creamy, a little heat.

Every single penny from every Labu Masak Lemak sold goes straight back to the Community Fridge to help them doing their good work for the community.

Serving Friday 5-8pm and Sat & Sun 1-8pm, message us if you would like to book a table!
