We're proud to be taking part in Dementia UK's Time for a Cuppa campaign and would love for you to join us for an afternoon of music, tea, cake, community and conversation.

🎵Live music from the wonderful John Davidson from 2pm
🔮Tarot readings with Elaine Wilson from 1pm-4pm
🧁Tea, coffee and home baking
💜Supporting families affected by dementia

Donations in lieu of refreshments are warmly welcomed, with all proceeds going to Dementia UK to support families facing dementia.

🌃Strutting for Strathcarron Hospice❤

Larbert High School's annual Fashion Show in aid of Strathcarron Hospice, a cause very close our hearts, certainly didn't disappoint 💕

From the moment we arrived, we were entertained by the incredible talents of the pupils and staff. The musicians, singers, dancers and models put on a fantastic show creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the event 🎵👗

A huge thank you to everyone at Larbert High School for their warm welcome and for organising such a special event in support of Strathcarron Hospice. We had an amazing night and are already looking forward to the next one😉

Special thanks also to Three Little Pigs for the delicious two-course meal and to Candied Ice Cream Parlour for the lovely desserts that rounded off the evening perfectly 🍽️🍦 ! Mhairi McAinsh

🏘️✨A Wee Taste of Luxury at Cromlix🌸🍰

We were absolutely delighted to take residents along to Cromlix Hotel for a beautiful afternoon tea and a chance to enjoy some very special time together💕

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Residents relaxed in the stunning surroundings, shared stories, conversation and memories, and of course enjoyed delicious afternoon tea🍰🫖🥪

There was something very special about sitting together, taking in the peaceful atmosphere and simply enjoying good company. These are the moments that create lasting memories and remind us how important meaningful experiences are ❤

A huge thank you to the fantastic team at Cromlix for their kindness, hospitality and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble and you helped make the day one to remember🌟 Cromlix Carrondale Care Home !

💜Practical Dementia Resources - Supporting Better Dementia Care💜

At Carrondale Care Home, we're always keen to share resources that can make a positive difference to the lives of people living with dementia and those who support them.

The new Practical Dementia Resources platform has been developed by frontline practitioners and funded by the Scottish Government. It provides simple, practical tips and real-life examples designed to support person-centred dementia care and help people better understand and respond to common challenges experienced by those living with dementia.

The platform includes short videos, animations, audio clips and easy-to-access guidance covering a range of common situations experienced by people living with dementia, families and care teams.

📍Posters with QR codes are displayed within Carrondale where families, visitors and staff can easily access the resource and information relating to dementia care.

💜A valuable resource for carers, families and professionals alike.

✨🕺🏻Waterloo? More like WOW-terloo💃🏻✨

Residents were treated to a fabulous afternoon of ABBA classics with the amazing Elise, who had everyone singing, dancing in their seats and soaking up every minute of the music🎤

From the first song to the final encore, it was just incredible. Elise brought the energy, the sparkle and all the feel-good favourites that had smiles appearing all around the room🎶

We captured so many brilliant moments on video that they deserve a post of their own... and trust us, you won't want to miss them👀😂

Thank you Elise for such a fantastic afternoon and for bringing a little bit of Dancing Queen to Carrondale🪩 !
