Winter hours in operation our kitchen is closed between 2.30 - 5pm Monday - Thursday and open all day Friday - Sunday 🙂

All our food is freshly prepared in house, daily. We have a large variety of dishes that are served thoughout the whole day complimented by a large Vegan section. Each week our chefs put their heads together and create a tasty specials menu which runs along side our normal menu. Every Sunday we offer one of the Best Sunday Carveries in Exeter. ion which starts at 12 noon. Everyone is welcome at The Twisted Oak in Exeter. We have a family room which leads to the indoor kids play room and also a tuck shop bar. Our snug is situated next to the open fire and is the cosiest part of the pub. In the conservatory is our formal restaurant. We have a large variety on our main menu including a vegan section. Children Twelve and under can order off the kids menu. We have gained something of a reputation for our Sunday Carvery in the Exeter area. Freshly prepared and served from 12 noon we cater for the whole family. With a choice of 4 Meats and all the trimmings and a vegetarian option all feature. With inside and outside childrens play areas we take the stress out of a Sunday Roast! We think there is no better place to enjoy a Sunday Roast in Exeter so come along and see for yourself!

Dog has run into garden at Twisted Oak, no owner in sight. Staff have put on a lead we need to find the owner before we have to call authority we will try to keep as long as possible please call 01392 273666 if anyone knows the owner

Starts today at THE TWISTED OAK our new menu with some great changes with bigger veggie, vegan options alongside more Gluten Free options ❤️ will be live on our website from next to week to view however it’s now live in house so with this wonderful weather around the corner pop in, have a meal and soak up that sun as the warm weather approaches in our garden with kids play area ❤️ We have also introduced an extended kids menu and a kids meal deal PLUS the introduction of doggie 🐶 ice cream ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tonight we closed a little earlier and had a wonderful staff get together to say goodbye to our wonderful staff member Jacey. Milly and I adopted her 8 years ago or so and she was a young school teenager wanting to work hard and earn money. Jacey has been and was the most incredible member loved by all staff and customers. Jacey took time out to break away from hospitality to study hard in the field of optometry and during this phase when she realised she loved us 😂 she came back to work hard yet again part time to support herself whilst going through intense higher education and exams. Jacey has left us today sadly but we are so thrilled, delighted, excited that this young woman we took on is now moving into her first position professionally in the optician world. We will miss her personality, integrity, honesty and dedication she blessed the twisted oak and customers with. Staff members like this rarely come along we were very lucky and blessed, it’s a hard hole to fill. We wish Jacey every success and happiness from now and throughout here new professional career. Team twisted done her proud tonight! Love you Jacey, the whole team does and we are always here if you need to have an few quid extra to fill the BMW fuel tank if needed 😂 ❤️ go smash your dreams and live life to the full……….
