👋 Meet Patrick – our new Lockside Manager!
Patrick brings 18 years of hospitality experience with him, having started out pot washing in a pub at 17 and working his way right through to management.
His career has taken him from busy Manchester venues and high-end cocktail bars to Australia, where he worked in Sydney and Melbourne, including a Japanese restaurant learning more about sushi and sake.
Back in the UK, he went on to work in fine dining before becoming GM at The Hand & Trumpet – the very pub where his hospitality career began.
More recently, Patrick worked at Lunar alongside Niall Keating in a Michelin environment, before spending three years with Thom Bateman at The Flintlock in Cheddleton, helping the restaurant achieve Michelin Guide recognition and 3 AA Rosettes for food quality and service.
Now, he’s bringing all of that experience to Lockside 🙌
Outside of work, Patrick is also a keen runner. He’s completed nearly 10 half marathons and ran his first full marathon in Chester last year, raising an incredible £5,000 with his brother for the UHNM Liver & Gastro Unit.
We’re really pleased to have him heading up the team, so if you see Patrick around Lockside, make sure you say hello! He can also carry a serious amount of pints over to your table 🤣👋
