What a SPOOKTACULAR afternoon!

A huge thank you to all our little pumpkins (and their grown-ups!) who joined us this afternoon for some pumpkin carving fun, raising more money for the village Christmas tree!

We’ve loved seeing all your fantastic creations, from spooky faces to fang-tastic designs!

We hope you all had as much fun as we did! Thank you for coming along and making it such a lovely afternoon.

This week marks our final two formal fundraising events for the village Christmas tree! We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, and with one final push, we're hoping to make these last two events count!

QUIZ NIGHT AND A CURRY £5 per person – Wednesday 28th October
Starts at 7pm - curry is served during the quiz
£5 per person

PUMPKIN CARVING – Saturday 31st October
Starts at 1pm
£10 per child – includes a pumpkin, soft drink and ice cream.

We’re almost fully booked for tomorrow’s W***y Wonka Golden Spoon promotion!

It’s nearly the weekend!

If you’ve got nothing planned for Saturday afternoon, take a long lazy lunch with us.

Whether it’s a proper pub lunch in the restaurant or just grazing through our starters, nibbles and sides with a pint or a glass of w**e, in the lounge, you’re welcome to stay as long as you like. Our kitchen’s is always open longer for Saturday lunch!

And if you end up staying for dinner… well, there’s worse ways to spend a Saturday!

We think this video sums up just how beautiful Wicken really is and how much this village has to offer compared to some.

There’s always something going on, plenty to get involved in and a fantastic community of local businesses supporting one another. It’s beautiful, picturesque and has a way of getting under your skin and making you fall in love with her.

Not bad for a village in the middle of nowhere, as some might say.

We think Wicken is something pretty special, and we’re proud to be part of it.
