One Year of Newburgh Inn
It has already been one year since Mario took over the Newburgh Inn, and above everything else, this past year has shown us how important community truly is.
From the very beginning, the support from the people of Newburgh and the surrounding areas has meant so much to us. Every visit, every kind word, every bit of feedback, every recommendation, and every familiar face walking through our doors has helped us keep moving forward.
Like any first year, it has been a journey filled with challenges, learning, changes, and improvements. There have been difficult moments along the way, but the encouragement from our local community has always reminded us why the Newburgh Inn matters. It is more than just a hotel, restaurant, or bar. It is a place for people to meet, enjoy good food, share conversations, celebrate moments, and feel welcome.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our wonderful staff, who continue to work hard every day to provide warm service, quality food, and a friendly experience for every guest. Their effort behind the scenes and in front of customers has played a huge part in this first year.
We are also grateful for Mario’s guidance, leadership, and support throughout the journey. His belief, experience, and willingness to step in during challenging times have helped shape the Newburgh Inn into what it is becoming today.
A special thank you also goes to our head chef, whose experience and passion have helped improve standards, guide the kitchen team, and keep our food moving in the right direction.
As we step into year two, our focus is on continuing to improve while staying close to the community that has supported us. One idea we are looking at is trialling food delivery within Newburgh. We hope this can be a small way to support local residents, especially elderly members of the community or anyone who may find it difficult to come out at times. It would also give families, regular customers, and new guests the chance to enjoy Newburgh Inn food from the comfort of their own homes.
Most importantly, thank you to all the locals who have stood by us, supported us, and helped bring life back into the place. A special thank you to the Briggies boys as well, who have always shown their support and added to the spirit of the Inn.
The Newburgh Inn is nothing without its community, and we are truly grateful to be part of it.
Here’s to year two, more memories, more improvements, and many more good times together.
Thank you,
Nick
