Well hello on this bright, beautiful morning. We’re not looking at the weekend weather, let’s hope we’re in for a bit more of the sunshine ☀️

We’ve had a change of Specials, and here they are.

Our locally produced Old Sussex sausages are back in a giant yorkie with lovely gravy. They’re made by a local butcher, to a secret recipe…

The fish cakes were so popular a few weeks ago, that we’ve brought them back - and we’ve got a ‘photo - delicious.

The puds have changed too and we’ve got some delicious warm chocolate brownies - yum, yum.

We’ve changed our Specials today, and here they are. The liver and bacon and belly pork make a welcome return. And if you fancy a curry, we’ve got a Balti style available.

Hello everyone ! Well, that a lovely couple of days. Is this the hot spell we’ve been promised…?!?! ☀️☀️

Come the weekend, come a change of Specials. The fisherman’s pie is still with us but look, the rack of ribs is back. With that scrummy bbq sauce, a truly delicious meal. The vegan wellington is also available and it’s pretty tasty. The Balti style curry is also here.

We’ve had a change of desserts too and another new one is the Biscoff cheesecake.

And don’t forget our roast dinners on Sunday. We’ve got lamb, beef and turkey as well as the nut roast. Wow, what a choice !

Hello everyone ! Again, a mixed bag of rain ☔️ and sunshine ☀️ - but still it’s not cold, so that’s not bad.

We’ve had a change of Specials today - the fisherman’s pie makes a welcome return and if you fancy a Chinese style stir fry with hoisin we’ve got one for you. The lovely lamb shank is with us again, as is the Old Sussex sausage special. Locally sourced sausages made from a secret recipe.

We’ve had a change of desserts too and a new one is the Eton mess cheesecake- we’ll get a ‘photo up as soon as we can.

Hello 👋🏻 👋🏻👋🏻 to all of our lovely customers, both near and far and those we’ve yet to meet.

What a changeable week we’ve had - strong breezes, lovely sunshine ☀️ and finally a bit of rain ☔️ . But back to sunshine today ☀️.

We’ve had a change of Specials too - here they are. Our whopping Marine Mixed Grill is back and is so very tasty. We’ve changed the curry to a Thai green curry - it’s so delicious.

And look, a few different desserts - the cheesecake is delicious and so is the chocolate fondant. Very naughty, but oh so very nice… And the chocolate fondant is Gluten Free.

Well hello all ! And here we are, the second day of Airbourne 2026. Hopefully the sun ☀️😎☀️😎 will stay with us and everyone will have a lovely time. Don’t forget to drink lots of water 💦 💦 to keep hydrated. And use lots of sunscreen.

We’ve had a change of Specials today, the warm chicken and bacon salad returns as does the salmon and broccoli bake. For those of you who like a curry in any time of weather we have our Madras too.

For those who like it cool, our Eton Mess is still here and we’ve a lovely raspberry sorbet. The chocolate brownie sundae is back as well.

We re-open tonight at 6 pm, so if you want to come see us after the airshow, pop in.

We are open all day Saturday, although the kitchen is only open between 12 noon until 2.30 pm. It then re-opens at 6 pm. So if you fancy a bite to eat before the planes start, come and see us.

We’re open all day Sunday, from 12 noon, with food service finishing st 9 pm. As well as our menus, the roast dinners on offer are beef, pork and a nut roast.
