We thought we’d have another change of Specials today… We’ve brought back our lovely Old Sussex Sausages. They’re produced to a secret recipe from our local butcher in East Dean… They’re served in a giant Yorkshire pudding with your choice of two sides and lovely gravy.

For those of you with a sweet tooth, our ever popular Eton Mess stays with us and the chocolate fondants are back.

Whatever you’re getting up to this weekend, enjoy yourselves and stay warm and dry.

Well hello ! We hope you’ve all had a lovely bank holiday and half-term in this beautiful weather 😎😎

Don’t forget it’s the Emergency Services Display at the Western Lawns this weekend.

If you’re going down to the display, why not pop in for lunch before you go or for dinner on your way back ?

We’ve had a change of Specials this week and the lamb koftas and warm chicken and bacon salad are back, as is our Madras style curry.

And here we are at the second Bank Holiday weekend and the reports say that the weather is going to be scorching 😎☀️

Let’s hope that it is that way for the carnival tomorrow and we’d like to wish everyone taking part a fun day.

There’s no change of Specials this week, but we thought we’d let you know of the slight change in our opening hours, so :

Today : we’re open now until 2.30 with the kitchen closing at 2 pm.

We’ll re-open at 6 pm and the kitchen will then close at 9.30 pm.

Saturday : we’re open all day, with food service between 12 noon - 2 pm. The kitchen re-opens at 6 pm and closes at 9.30 pm

Sunday : open all day from 12 noon with the kitchen open until 9 pm.

Monday : we are open ALL day from 11 am with the kitchen opening at 12 noon and closing at 9.30 pm.

So, come and see us but don’t forget to book a table :

Well hello the weekend - hopefully the sun will continue to shine… ☀️ 😎

We’ve had a change of Specials and the slow cooked belly pork and Mexican wraps make a welcome return. As do the Thai red curry and salmon and broccoli bake.

We’ve also got some new desserts as well, tangy lemon meringue pie and warm chocolate brownie.

Well here’s to the bank holiday weekend, and Team Marine would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter.

We’ve had a change of Specials and our ribs make a very welcome re-appearance. As do the Thai green curry and tuna steak.

And look, we’ve got a lovely crumble and chocolate fondant on the dessert list.

We are open all day Bank Holiday Monday and are serving food all day too.

We’ve had a change of Specials today and welcome the return of our ever popular fisherman’s pie and slow cooked belly of pork.

We’re also serving our Moroccan lamb shank, which is delicious with a little bit of spice and fruity couscous.
