Since opening our doors in October 1998, Jalsa Ghar has been proud to serve our community with passion and dedication. Over the years we have been honoured with many curry awards, including being shortlisted twice in the British Curry Awards as the only restaurant in Essex at the time. We have also won the Asian Curry Awards and have been voted the best restaurant in Dunmow on many occasions.
We are incredibly proud of our journey, but none of this would have been possible without you – our loyal customers and the wonderful people of Great Dunmow – who have played a major part in our success. We continue to thrive because of your support, our excellent food, our dedicated staff, and most importantly, our commitment to customer service.
Like any business, we’ve had our good times and our challenges. Sometimes we may get an order wrong or become a little overbooked, but we are only human. What matters most to us is that we always acknowledge our mistakes and work hard to put them right. That commitment is at the heart of our management and our service.
Being part of this community means a lot to us. We proudly support local football teams, allow parents to use our car park during school drop-off and pick-up times, and regularly host charity evenings to help raise funds for good causes. We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us for so many years.
This Mother’s Day, we want to say a heartfelt thank you for being part of our journey. Your support means everything to us, and we look forward to continuing to serve you with excellent food and warm hospitality for many more years to come.
