I regret to inform you that I am stepping away from the pub. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any updates on the pub's future as I am unaware myself. Since I am leaving, this page will cease to exist. Good afternoon,

Tonight “Broxted Parish Council” will be holding a meeting at Broxted Village Hall at 19.30Hrs
Since the sad news on the fire at The Prince of Wales yesterday some members of the community have been thinking of ways we can keep our community and it’s community spirit together whilst our Public House is out of action & under repair.
Members of Broxted Parish Council have been contacted and have no objections to members of the community attending tonight’s meeting.

Hopefully this could be the starting point of us and the council laying ideas of how this could be achieved together?

I understand there is an open discussion at the start of these council meeting where the topic’s above could be brought up for initial planning and further discussions

To respect Broxted Parish Council, their meeting and also those close to the owners and management teams of our Public House could we please suggest we keep discussion to positive points.

I would say rumours of how the fire started this what actions the owner will be taking to restore the Prince of Wales to its original glory would be sensitive and hearsay at this time.

Would those reading this knowing members of the local community who do not have access to Facebook pass this invite on please.

Good evening, unfourtunatly as most of you will be aware the Prince of wales was on fire this morning, luckily no one was hurt however we are sorry to say the Prince of wales will be closed until further notice, thank you for everyone’s support, and kind messages today, and we look forward to hopefully seeing you again in the future.
