🥂 A SPECIAL NIGHT AT THE CHARLIE BAR! ❤️

On the 30th of October, we had the pleasure of hosting our very first function, celebrating the Golden Wedding Anniversary of the lovely Lesley & Dave! 💍✨

It was an absolute honour to be part of such a special occasion and to help celebrate 50 wonderful years of marriage.

The evening was a fantastic success, and we would like to thank Lesley, Dave and all their family and friends for choosing us to celebrate this special milestone with them.

We hope you all enjoyed the evening just as much as we did! ❤️

We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our kitchen team!

We have the following positions available:

👨‍🍳 FULL-TIME CHEFS
We are looking for experienced chefs who have strong kitchen skills, a passion for food and the ability to work confidently in a busy kitchen environment.

🧑‍🍳 PART-TIME KITCHEN PORTER
We are also looking for an experienced kitchen porter who is hardworking, reliable, organised and able to work as part of a busy kitchen team.

PLEASE NOTE: EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR BOTH POSITIONS.

We are looking for people who take pride in their work, have a good work ethic and can bring a positive attitude to our team.

A Really Disappointing Post …….

On Friday night, one of our barmen was verbally abused and physically assaulted after politely refusing to serve a customer any more alcohol.

The police have been given the individual’s name and extensive CCTV footage of the incident.

It should go without saying, that this type of behaviour towards staff or customers will not be tolerated.

If our staff are refusing to serve any more alcohol to a customer, it is primarily for the customer’s safety (please understand and respect this), as well as those around them.

On a far more positive note; we have been overwhelmed by the support and praise we have received since opening and want to thank every single person who has been in to see us so far, we couldn’t be more appreciative of your custom and support in bringing back, what we believe to be, a cornerstone for the local community.

Anyone that hasn’t visited yet, what are you waiting for 🫶🏼
