Your support really does mean the world to us! ❤️ also would like a to say a massive thank you to cheryl for her hard work and doing what she does best, making our customers night memorable and thank you to our bar staff for keeping the drinks flowing.

⚡ IMPORTANT UPDATE – TEMPORARY OPENING HOURS ⚡

As many of you know, we are currently operating with a generator while we work towards getting our electricity issues fully resolved.

Unfortunately, this means we have to temporarily reduce our opening days and hours from Monday 2nd November.

Our temporary opening hours will be:

📅 MONDAY: CLOSED
📅 TUESDAY: CLOSED
📅 WEDNESDAY: CLOSED
📅 THURSDAY: 5PM – 11PM
📅 FRIDAY: 5PM – 1AM
📅 SATURDAY: 12PM – 1AM
📅 SUNDAY: 5PM – 11PM

⚠️ Please note that these hours are temporary and may be subject to change depending on the situation with the generator and our electricity supply.

We are keeping everything crossed that these issues will be resolved very soon and we can get back to our normal opening hours and give you the Waverley experience you know and love.

We know the last few weeks haven't been straightforward, and we appreciate every single person who has stuck by us, supported us and continued to show us encouragement.

THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE WAVERLEY FAMILY! ❤️

Here's to brighter days ahead, and hopefully a return to normal very soon!

As many of you know, we've been battling ongoing electrical issues. To get ourselves back open while the remaining issues are resolved, we've managed to secure a generator.

This means we can finally reopen, but we will initially be operating on limited opening days and hours while we work towards getting our permanent electricity supply fully restored.

We will keep everyone updated with our opening schedule as things progress.

A massive thank you to everyone who has stuck by us, checked in, sent messages and supported us throughout this frustrating time. Your support really does mean the world to us. ❤️

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE – PSYCHIC NIGHT & REOPENING NEWS! ✨🔮

First of all, we would like to apologise for the delay in reopening The Waverley Bar. We know many of you are eager to get back through our doors, and we’re just as eager to welcome you all back! ❤️🍻

Unfortunately, due to the timing and taking longer than expected and the uncertainty over whether we will be open in time, we have had to make the difficult decision to POSTPONE THIS THURSDAY’S PSYCHIC NIGHT. 🔮

We know this will be disappointing for everyone who was looking forward to the evening, and we’re genuinely sorry for any inconvenience caused.

✨ WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
🔮 We will be looking to rearrange the Psychic Night for a new date as soon as possible.
💷 If you have already booked your slot and would prefer your booking fee refunded, this can absolutely be arranged.
❤️ Alternatively, if you would like to attend the rearranged event, we can simply transfer your booking to the new date.

Please drop us a private message and let us know which option you would prefer.

🍻 THE GOOD NEWS? WE’RE ALMOST THERE! 🍻

We are now in the final stages of getting everything sorted, and we are hopeful that we will be reopening very soon! The wait has been longer than expected and frustrating, but we want to make sure everything is right before welcoming everyone back.

Thank you so much to everyone who has continued to support us, sent messages, checked in and shown us patience during this difficult time. It really does mean a lot to us. ❤️

Keep your eyes peeled, because THE WAVERLEY BAR, DUMBARTON, WILL BE BACK VERY SOON! 🎉🍻

We can't wait to see you all back at your local! ❤️

🚨 LET’S PUT THE RUMOURS TO BED ONCE AND FOR ALL! 🚨

We’ve become aware of rumours being spread around Dumbarton that The Waverley Bar is closing permanently.

THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE.

The Waverley has had an electrical issue, which is currently being dealt with in the background. This has unfortunately meant that we have had to temporarily close.

That is the situation. Nothing more.

To those who are spreading rumours that we are closing — please stop.

You may not realise it, but rumours like this can seriously damage a small local business, especially when people hear them and decide not to visit because they believe the pub is no longer going to be here.

We have put a huge amount of time, money, hard work and personal commitment into The Waverley, and we are not giving up.

🍻 WE ARE NOT CLOSING.
⚡ We are dealing with an electrical issue.
🔧 We are working behind the scenes to get it resolved.

🚪And when we are ready, THE DOORS WILL OPEN AGAIN.

And when they do…

🔥 WE WANT DUMBARTON THROUGH THOSE DOORS! 🔥

Come in. Have a drink. Watch the sport. Enjoy the entertainment. Bring your friends. Bring the dog. 🐾

Don’t listen to rumours — come and support the pub for yourself.

To everyone who has checked in, messaged us, asked how we’re doing and continued to support The Waverley…

THANK YOU. ❤️

We hope to welcome you all back if not this weekend then hopefully next week, thank you to everybody that has supported us so far.

Waverley team
