Love pubs? We need your support!

Hospitality brings communities together, but right now three hospitality businesses are closing every day. That's why we're backing the call to cut VAT for hospitality from 20% to 10% and help secure the future of the sector.

Nearly 400,000 people have already signed. Now its your turn.

End of an era at The Counting house today! 📣

It's our amazing Assistant Manager Caitlin's LAST week with us. Caitlin is moving on to her next adventure and whilst we're going to miss her endlessly, we couldn't be happier for her.

Don't worry though, she has assured us whilst she won't be pouring the pints anymore she will still be in frequently to have a blether with all our regulars and enjoy a good tipple 😉

Caitlin, thank you for all your hard work and dedication to our pub, our team and our regulars, you will be missed more than you know and have left us with some funny, fond memories over your 8 years here.

Please join us in wishing Caitlin all the luck in the world with her new job! (They don't know how lucky they are to be gaining such a fantastic member of staff )❤️

OUR SUNDAY QUIZ IS QUIZZING!🧠🍻

Huge congratulations to last week's champions, "My Nan's a fighter" who proved they have the brains and the brawn by taking home the £30 bar voucher! 🏆🔥

Think you and your team have what it takes to knock them off that pedestal? Round up your cleverest mates, grab them a pint and join us this Sunday for another round of high stakes trivia!

🎩BONUS POINT TEASER:
This week's bonus question dips into 19th century history and literature... if you know your toxic elements you might just score yourself some points! 🧪The character of Mad Hatter in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland was inspired by the real life 19th century Hatters who suffered from mad hatter disease. What specific toxic element used in felt curing caused their neurological symptoms?

See you Sunday!! 📆
