Have you tried the Thompson Bros 'Map Series' yet?
Its not the official name of the series (not sure it has one), but its what we go with here at ye ol' Castle π«‘
2 Malts / 3 Grains, each representing what we consider to be definitive examples of what these areas and counties are loved for.
β’ Royal Brackla 11yr - A Speyside Dram - viscous, dried red fruits, panettone, caramel brittle
β’ Clynelish 24yr - A Sutherland Dram - lemon posset, waxy honey, tropical fruit, candied ginger
β’ North British Distillery 33yr - An Edinburgh Dram - honeycomb, stewed plums, stone fruit, oily
β’ Invergordon 34yr - A Ross-Shire Dram - white blossom, demerara sugar, fruit salad, vanilla
β’ Strathclyde 34yr - A Glasgow Dram - plum syrup, camphor, toasted coconut, orchard fruit
All pouring here at until they are gone.
