Step inside from the dreich Highland weather and let us pour you something bright from our new wine list. We've officially welcomed the Heaphy Pinot Gris from Nelson, New Zealand to our shelves.

Expect a crisp, textural pour bursting with ripe stone fruit and poached pear. If we can't have summer weather, we might as well have summer pours. This wine also pairs perfectly with our stone-baked pizzas, which are available ALL DAY and can be ordered from the bar.

A lost distillery, a legendary 1937 vintage, and expert tasting notes from Kanichiroh behind the bar 🥃✨

Closing its doors in Inverness back in 1983, Glen Mhor remains one of Scotland’s most cherished lost distilleries. Kanichiroh recently poured a measure of our Glen Mhor 1937 Distillation—here is what he had to say:

💬 Translation: "Hello, everyone. I'm Kanichiro. Since I was told it's fine to speak in Japanese, I'll go ahead and do this in Japanese.
The bottle I'm introducing today is this one: Glen Mhor 1937 Distillation. The Glen Mhor Distillery is a lost distillery in Inverness that closed back in 1983.
On the nose, it has berries, citrus, and a rich, honey-like sweetness. On the palate, you get a wonderfully balanced oak character alongside rich, sweet flavours like mango. The finish is beautifully long—delicate, yet with fruity notes like yellow peach and a prominent sense of yellow fruits, making it a truly delicious bottle. I think it’s a wonderful whisky.

🐈 Thompson Tuesdays 🥃

This week it's the Thompson Bros Glenturret Ruadh Mhor — the peated single malt from one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, near Crieff.

Smoked bacon, lobster boxes and grapefruit, finishing with a lasting peat and wood smoke and just a touch of herbaceousness. Big, bold, and hugely enjoyable.

The label pays tribute to Towser (1963–1987) — the greatest mouser to ever live, who dispatched an estimated 28,899 mice at Glenturret. A distillery cat with a world-class record 🐱
