🇩🇪🍻 What a weekend! 🍻🇩🇪

Oktoberfest was a huge success and bigger and better than last year, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many new and familiar faces joining us and getting stuck into the celebrations!

A huge shoutout to our kitchen team, who absolutely smashed it from start to finish — and somehow managed to do it all with smiles on their faces!

And our front of house team worked effortlessly throughout the weekend to keep the beers flowing, look after everyone and keep things moving. Most importantly, everyone worked together as a proper team, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

Oktoberfest night two was nothing short of incredible!

The garden was full, and the Oompah Band were another huge success. Everyone loved listening to them, with plenty of singing, dancing and good times all round! We look forward to welcoming Abingdon Town Band back at Christmas.

We’ve sold out of lots of the German beers, which is brilliant to see. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the weekend so much fun.

But today is the final day of Oktoberfest! 🍺

We’ve still got some great German beers left, including Löwenbräu and Bavaria Pilsner, so there’s still time to come down, enjoy a pint, some delicious hot dogs and churros, and make the most of the final day before we pack the steins away for another year!

Final day, let’s make it a good one!

Packed house for the amazing Abingdon Town Oompah Band last night. Catch them again this evening as our Oktoberfest celebrations continue…and we’re serving food, up to 40 beers and much more from 12 noon…come and join us!

Oktoberfest night one… what a night! 🍻

The drinks didn’t stop flowing, and we honestly lost count of how many hot dogs came out of the kitchen! 🌭

The garden was a sea of steins full of German beer, and the bar was packed with happy smiley customers. The feedback we were getting throughout the night was honestly amazing and really kept us going during some seriously busy moments!

The Abingdon Town Oompah Band were a huge hit too! Everyone was up bopping along and singing… some better than others 😂

Thank you to everyone who came along and made night one so much fun — we loved seeing the pub buzzing!

And today… we’re doing it all again!

We’re open from 12pm today for food and drinks, with the Oompah Band returning at 7pm for round two!

Bratwurst prep is going well and the very important taste tests are well underway 😂

The first of many German lagers, Erdinger, is officially on and pouring like a dream.
We can’t wait to welcome you all later and kick off the weekend properly — especially with the brilliant Abingdon Town Oompah Band playing from 7pm tonight!
