After the great success of our last murder mystery evening, we’re doing it again — and this time, things are about to get a whole lot spookier!

It’s 1928, and the first talking pictures are delighting audiences around the world.

Tonight, it’s party night at the pub.

You are cordially invited to celebrate the success of Hollywood’s latest blockbuster, Little House of Horrors, the sensational new film from celebrated director Rod Ducer.

The ch*****ne is flowing.
The stars have arrived.
The excitement is building…

But before the evening is over, someone will be dead. 🔪

We’re excited to announce the launch of a brand new folk club in Oxfordshire — South Moreton Folk Club.
We’ll be hosting monthly open floor / singaround folk sessions on the fourth Saturday each month.
Anyone can come along and sing, play, or just enjoy the music.
Entry is £2 on the door, or free for performers.
Date & Time: Saturday, 26 September. Doors open at 7pm, for a 7.30pm start.
Venue: The Crown, South Moreton, OX11 9AG.

This Bank Holiday weekend, we’ll have two delicious pie choices:

🍗 Chicken & Vegetable Pie
🐑 Lamb, Mint & Potato Pie

Served with veg, creamy mash or hand-cut chips.

We’ll also be open on Bank Holiday Monday from 12pm–4:30pm, with food served from 12pm–2:45pm.

Come and enjoy a delicious meal, relax in our b**r garden and treat yourself to a pint or two!

☀️ Important Update – Kitchen Opening Hours ☀️

Due to the extreme heat and in the interest of the safety and wellbeing of our kitchen team, we have taken the decision to temporarily reduce our kitchen opening hours and menu over the next few of days.

Food service times:
Tuesday: 5:30pm - 8:30pm Billy’s Baps
Wednesday: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Thursday Lunch: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Thursday Evening: 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Please note that the pub will be closed between 3:00pm and 5:00pm on Thursday.

Bingo will go ahead as normal on Thursday evening.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support while we look after our hardworking team during the hot weather.
