This week at The Golden Eagle we have a busy week of entertainment......
Wednesday we have the fabulous Record Rendezvous - bring your own vinyl and either play your own or get DJ Jinxie and DJ Soul Stu to play it for you while you sit back and relax with one of our real ales, proper ciders or from a selection of none alcoholic drinks.

Thursday night we have the one and only The Skarantinos Official who will play a selection of covers as well and there own material. There will be plenty of dancing, drink and general merriment.

Saturday we will be hosting Halloween with Alex James playing under the stairs followed by Chenko on the decks. Get dressed up and you could win yourself a free drink.

This Thursday from 8.30pm we have the fantastic Peashooter playing under the stairs.
It promises to be a top night so if you fancy a decent ale, awsome company and great music then The Golden Eagle is the place to be.

Get your spookiest costume on and join us for a fright night to remember.
We will be kicking off the night with the wicked Alex James for some live music 8pm then he will shapeshift into Cenko who will be spinning some vinyl from 10 till midnight.

This Thursday night from 8.30 pm we have the brilliant Southbound plus special guest not to be missed!

They will play a selection song by from the likes of Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Clearwater Revival and many more.

The line up will comprise of some of the best talent Derby has to offer delivering the sounds of Americana and Country Rock - Jules, Jimmy Bo'weevil, Mitzi Jones, John Kemp and Rob Wakelin plus Special Guest.

Bitter sweet day at The Golden Eagle.
We bid farewell to Tim and Anna who have been the beating heart of The Golden Eagle over the last 7 and half years.
What they have created is a very special and unique real ale pub where everyone is welcomed.
Today is also the day Sade and Amy take over the reins and hope to carry on the legacy.
Over the coming months, there will be some small improvements plus watch out for live music under the stairs on Saturday nights from November!
The new landlords will be behind the bar tonight if you want to pop in and say hi plus the fantastic Starscreen will be playing Under the Stairs tonight from 8.30 😊

Wow! What a week it has been! We truly feel the love and have enjoyed every moment. The same goes for the last seven and a bit years. We leave with a gigantic number of new, dear friends and an exceeding number of memorable moments that will make us smile and giggle for years to come. We’re still at the Eagle today if you happen to be around. And the good times will continue with the amazing Amy and Sade, kicking off with Starscreen tomorrow evening! xx
