Evening all. Our festival begins tomorrow & we're super excited to share the week with you.

We're really focusing on the community our little pub offers... the connections made between these four walls & the joy in celebrating local talent.

The cask b**rs we have on purposely showcase some of the best breweries from neighbouring areas. We love giving a voice & a platform to all.. Especially the ones who are lesser known.

We have Kevey! doing her first solo quiz for us on Wednesday. Sadly, I can not join in, as I had a little ganders at the questions already.. but what I can say is that she's done a cracking job & it will be so much fun seeing her doing her thing. Kev has been on the comedy scene for over a year now & her confidence is a joy to see. There will be cheese & treats put out halfway.

Andy... Andy has kindly put on a second drink & draw for thursday.. A spooky special! Andy represents all that is good about our pub. A safe space to find your people & get creative. It really doesn't matter how good you are.. it is about joy. Andy is the absolute best of us.

Fancy dress... this was for my own enjoyment. Animals in costumes. If you dress your dog up.. or cat.. or bunny... bring them in.. staff will snap a photo & a winner will get announced on Sunday. The same goes for the humans! They'll be a little goody bag for the winners.

Sunday cobs will be back this week. They'll be some new ideas trialled soon. Watch this space!

Cheers, as always, for all the support & kindness you give to this place. You make it what it is. It will be great to see you all over the coming days..

Luke x
