We are extremely lucky to have wonderful hanging baskets supplied by Maxteds Pet, Aquatic & Garden this morning.
We’re all looking forward to watching them bloom and brighten up our summer. 🌺🌼

Good morning Saturday.
What a glorious day.
It is parkrun day for some of us and that means we’re open earlier, to enjoy a chat of a coffee/tea and maybe indulge in a bacon roll or enjoy our recently added granola pots.
Well done to all those attending Walmer and Deal Seafront Parkrun, other parkrun’s are available, in the sunshine today.

Happy running, walking, spectating or marshalling 🩷.

Saturday mornings is Walmer and Deal Seafront parkrun day.

Whether you walk, run, volunteer or cheer in from the sidelines we are open from 9:30am, until 11am, for hot and cold soft drinks, bacon, egg or sausages in a roll (or have a combination of all 3 😉) a cheeky muffin or from tomorrow you can enjoy an overnight granola pot.
These we have a limited number of dues to space and testing the waters if people would like them.
We have dairy, Greek yoghurt or non-dairy, soya yoghurt, ones for you all to enjoy at a reasonable price too.

However, whatever you do tomorrow, we hope to see you.

The sun is coming out to play now, yay 🎉🌞
Which means only one thing, the princess of the pub will be spending more time in the courtyard.

This little sassy madam is Lettie, she is the much loved landlady’s princess, and she knows it.

She will jump up on a chair, on a table, flirt her way into hearts and then leave you wanting more.

1, She doesn’t like being picked up by strangers.
2, She will only come to you when she wants to
3, Please don’t worry about trying to get her inside the pub, no matter the weather. She won’t come in, but you’ll feel her laughing at you whilst you try to coax her.
4, She will leave the area if you have a dog. She’s not keen on the one she lives with & knows they are the annoying domestic species 😂.
5, she is fed regularly and won’t want or need any human food or dog treats thank you.

Pease enjoy her company if she chooses you, but don’t get upset if she doesn’t choose you.
At 9 years old, she’s sassy, opinionated and a cat!!

This Sunday expects to bring all kinds of emotions out of football fans at 4pm

With a lot of live televised games available , we have made the decision to show the fight to stay out of relegation, Tottenham Hotspur & West Ham United and of course let Arsenal enjoy their glory
