Update on the power cut.

Hello, this is Northern Powergrid. Thank you for your patience during today's power cut affecting properties in the Croft, Hurworth and Dalton areas. We understand how disruptive losing power can be, and we know some customers remain without electricity. Our teams are on site and working as quickly and safely as possible to restore supplies after a tree damaged our overhead cables in the Croft area. High winds from Storm Boelo has caused disruption across our network. Our vegetation contractors are currently working to remove the tree, which will then allow our engineers to carry out the necessary repairs. We'll aim to update customers again once we have a clearer estimated time for restoring supplies. Thank you again for your patience and understanding. If you need any support during today's power cut, please contact us on 105.

Good morning - the whole village is currently experiencing a power cut (thanks to storm Boelo) - at the moment, we don’t know when power will be restored.

Apologies to those who have booked an early Sunday lunch - we doubt power will be back on before 12:00 😕 but I will give an update as soon as I can.
