Come for the good food and drinks, stay for the wagging tails and good times 🐶 The Old Farmhouse, located in Middleton St. George, is a historic country pub with a rich heritage dating back over 250 years. Originally an inn called The Wheatsheaf, it was later transformed into a farmhouse by a retired sea captain before being converted back into a pub in the 1980s. At The Old Farmhouse, guests can indulge in a delightful array of hearty favourites and country pub classics. From our renowned steak & mushroom pie to our mouthwatering beer-battered fish and chips, our menu caters to all tastes. We also offer seasonal surprises for those seeking a unique dining experience. With a well-stocked bar featuring cask ales, lager, fine wines, British gin and refreshing soft drinks, you can enjoy your drink of choice in our stunning and picturesque gardens. Whether you're looking for a private dining experience, after-work drinks, a work meeting with plug sockets and a quiet area, a leisurely brunch, or a festive celebration during Christmas or Easter, The Old Farmhouse near Darlington is the perfect venue. With its charming countryside views and proximity to Teesside International Airport, it provides a perfect setting for any occasion. We eagerly await your visit and the opportunity to provide you with a memorable dining experience.

🏆❤️ A LITTLE SOMETHING WE'RE INCREDIBLY PROUD OF! ❤️🏆

Last Christmas, you helped us achieve something pretty special! 🥹🎄

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers, The Old Farmhouse was recognised as one of the top performing pubs across our brand for donations to the Social Bite Christmas campaign! 🏆

And we even received this lovely award to celebrate! ❤️

But the real achievement wasn't the award itself. It was knowing that together, we helped provide Christmas dinners for people experiencing homelessness. 🍽️🎅

And this year, we're doing it all over again! 🎄

You can support our campaign by adding a donation to your bill or scanning the QR code on any of our tables.

Last year, you helped us achieve something amazing. Let's see if we can make an even bigger difference this Christmas! 🥹❤️

From all of us at The Old Farmhouse, THANK YOU! 🫶
