🍺 V.A.T’S THE PROBLEM 🍺

Our pub is far more than somewhere to grab a pint or a bite to eat.

It’s where people have their first pint with their dad. It’s where families gather after a funeral to celebrate a life well lived. It’s where friends celebrate 21st birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and all of life’s big moments.

But it’s also so much more than that.

❤️ It’s about community.

We’re incredibly proud of what we do, but the reality is that hospitality is becoming harder and harder. Costs continue to rise, margins get tighter, and thousands of pubs across the UK are closing their doors because the industry simply isn’t sustainable in its current form.

We don’t want handouts. We just want a fair chance.

A reduction in hospitality VAT to 10% would make a huge difference. It would help businesses like ours continue investing in our teams, our facilities and our communities. It would help keep village pubs alive for the next generation.

Because when a pub closes, it’s not just a business that’s lost.

It’s the place where memories were made.
It’s where friendships were formed.
It’s where people know they’ll always find a friendly face.

If you believe pubs matter, please take a moment to sign the petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced to 10%.
