So weather is heating up a little so we bringing you a little bit of our homeland this weekend!

So on the Braai(BBQ) this weekend(Saturday and maybe even Sunday).

Braaibroodjie – A traditional South African toasted sandwich cooked over the coals, filled with melted cheese, ripe tomatoes, onions and sweet chutney. Crispy, smoky and utterly moreish

Boerewors Roll – Flame-grilled South African boerewors sausage served in a soft roll onion marmalade or tomato sauce. A true braai favourite.

Go Jak Go!!

I have two sets of live music coming. Tris Lewis and Jim Ramsey, I am just confirming times. (Edit I have Jim Ramsey Saturday and Tris Lewis next week)

Outside bar will be spritzing away with some tasty bevs too. Now sun shine shun shine!!

Our ovens are back up and running so head down to The Coach for a Pizza & a Pint for £11!!!

I know right- WHAT A DEAL!

Average from a supermarket would cost between £6.50 to £8.5 but then you got to cool the beer, cook the pizza and even worse do the washing up. Much easier here and we are pretty vibey too!!

We all know I have a lil screw loose but We have secured The amazing Noted for Christmas 18th December so of course myself and chatgbt made a poster!!!

I know it is early but here is your pre warning we will publish Christmas Menus July 21st- so watch this space!

For now lets mark our diaries and get our tans on(if the rain leaves us alone for a bit).

The heat is lovely but our oven is tamping!!

Engineer is due to come visit us on Monday as a few other ovens must be tamping!

In light of this it throws a spanner into the works in regards to Pizza & a Pint night tomorrow. Do not fear we have a contingency plan!

For Friday 29th May it is Burger & a Pint night for £12!!! Halloumi & Mushroom Burger, Cheese Beef Burger or Buttermilk Chicken Burger. - If you want a Jak's double cheeseburger add £3.
