The Caerwylan ★★★★ | Criccieth
A contemporary 4-star hotel on the seafront, offering luxury stays with panoramic views across Cardigan Bay.

Welcome to The Caerwylan Hotel

Your 4-Star Retreat in North Wales

If you’re searching for a contemporary and relaxed 4-star hotel in North Wales, you’ve found the perfect destination. Located in the picturesque town of Criccieth, The Caerwylan is a beautifully restored Victorian landmark. We’ve thoughtfully rebuilt the hotel to offer 24 stylish, individually designed en-suite rooms, along with newly renovated public spaces, all facing south. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the main beach, Tremadog Bay, and the historic Criccieth Castle ruins. From our unique vantage point, we’re proud to offer some of the best seaside views on the Llyn Peninsula. Michael and Frances look forward to welcoming you to The Caerwylan.

We've had such wonderful support from so many different groups, businesses and organisations in and around Criccieth for this year's festive dining at Tonnau!

With Christmas bookings coming in thick and fast, and following requests, we've added an extra date – Friday 27th November!

We've also had requests for earlier dining times, so we're happy to offer 5pm and 5.30pm sittings for those wanting to come straight from work and get the Christmas celebrations started!

We can also offer lunch time dining for groups of 20 +

Whether you're planning a work Christmas party, a get-together with friends, or a festive evening with your local group or organisation, we'd love to welcome you.

Please get in touch to discuss your Christmas party! We're happy to chat about dates, group sizes and timings to find something that works for you.

Planning a festive get-together, but worried about catering for different dietary requirements?

Don’t let dietary restrictions stop anyone from joining the celebrations!

A large part of our Festive Menu can be adapted to be made without gluten-containing ingredients, and we also have two vegan starters and one vegan main course and two vegan desserts to choose from.

If you have any other restrictions, please get in touch to see if we can cater for you!

So whether it’s a Christmas catch-up with friends, a family gathering or the annual work party, everyone can enjoy the festivities together.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER HOUSEKEEPING TEAM MEMBER

Our season is staying busy, so we’re looking for another friendly and reliable person to join our housekeeping team at the Caerwylan Hotel.

We’re looking for someone with a good eye for detail, who works well as part of a team and takes pride in making our rooms look their best.

The role is mornings, with around 5–6 mornings a week while we’re busy, reducing to around 2–4 mornings during our quieter months.

Previous experience is great, but not essential – reliability, a good work ethic and a friendly attitude are most important.

Includes weekends and bank holidays.

Shifts start at 8.30/9.00 until approximately 12.00 - 2.00pm depending on how busy we are.

Interested?
Send us a message with a little about yourself and your availability to [email protected]

These beautiful pictures were captured by some of our guests during their stay with us, right outside the front of the hotel.

A Hummingbird Hawk Moth enjoying the flowers – such a lovely little visitor to have right on our doorstep!

Thank you to our guests for sharing these wonderful photos with us.
