Good news!

With the English Devolution and Community Empowerment Bill receiving Royal Assent yesterday, Plunkett UK’s Chief Executive James Alcock reflects on how the passing of strengthened Community Right to Buy legislation marks a hugely significant moment for communities across England.

In his blog, James looks back on how far we've come, the contribution of individuals who have campaigned for community rights, and the collective effort from Plunkett and other organisations to strengthen the framework. 🤝

The new legislation is a genuine game changer, and James outlines the two areas being brought in which will give communities a much greater chance of success.

James explains the numerous challenges that remain and three complementary measures we are calling for. 📣

This is a moment to celebrate – but also a moment to build. 📈
