The Four Provinces will be closed on Friday 15th May as friends of Christy Brown come together to remember him on the 2nd anniversary of his passing.

The pub will be open again as normal on Saturday 16th.

For Christy’s Anniversary this year we would love to welcome anyone who wants to join us in remembering Christy Brown.

We are arranging a day out for everyone who loved Christy to be together at Newbury races on Friday 15th May.

If you would like to join us, tickets are £40 and this ensures entrance to the race meet and return coach travel from The Four P’s.

Leaving at 10:30am and returning at around 8pm.

Please message the Pub on either Instagram or Facebook to reserve your space and receive payment details. The deadline for reservation & payment is April 17th.

Christy Brown Memorial Golf Day⛳️🇮🇪
Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2026.

As like last year, Tom Brown has organised a golf day, in remembrance of his son, Christy.
Christy was a huge part of our community and will always be missed.

All proceeds of the Golf Day are going to Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice💛 A charity Christy raised money for during his life, and work at The 4P’s.

Whether you’re a novice, professional or just want to have a bit of craic with your mates, this is a great day to be involved with.
