I never know what to expect on a bank holiday weekend Sitty Doon Drinkies, but that was a jolly decent little day!

The bad news is that Track's Sonoma will definitely run out very quickly tomorrow. If you want that, get oot early! I might have a couple of keg ends of pales to tide us over for a wee bit. Plenty of Holy Goat's Damnation IPA left, though that could change very quickly if everyone starts drinking that... Pentrich's Attack The Choc ran out at around 6ish, so Holy Goat's Sabra Cadabra is on.

Anyhoo, plenty of extras for stouts and sours, and there's loads of cans and bottles to go at.

See you tomorrow - midday until 6pm. 🙂

Before I opened this shop, and before Covid, I used to go to Damnation Festival every(ish) year (2008 then 2013 - 2019) to enjoy all sorts of fantastic metal bands. Since then, Holy Goat have started providing some b**rs for the festival...it was all crappy corporate rubbish when I went...so I'm chuffed to be able to get the IPA that they brewed for the festival on at my little shop. I can't enjoy the festival...but I can enjoy watching you enjoy the b**r... Well, I might have a couple myself! 😁

Update after my last post about it being a bit quiet...

I'm happy to report that this weekend was much more fruitful, and felt a bit more like it needs to be for me to be able to hang on in there!

So I've been able to order the two pale kegs for next weekend. Money was too tight to go as far as getting in new sour and stout kegs, but there's plenty of those left in reserve. Expect a couple of polls on Wednesday when I'm back at the shop.

Thank you to everyone who called in to the shop over the weekend - you all made a difference! 🙂 (And interrupted Skyrim...😁)

It's been canny quiet in the shop for the last few weeks. During the long, cold winters I always think "it'll be better in the summer"...and then it always turns out to be just as bad coz people go away and have to keep the kids entertained, etc..
I must be due a busy-ish weekend right about now...which would be nice, coz I need to buy Sitty Doon Drinkies kegs next week. 😬

Only busy*ish*, mind - I have Skyrim and R-Type to play, you know! 😁

Despite missing the first two nights of The Grey Horse B**r Festival (tsk!), I managed to get there tonight.
As always, fabulous b**rs, fabulous staff, fabulous food, and a fabulous crowd!
I might do it again tomorrow!
