The Stone Jug is a 16th century building which first became a pub in the early 1900's. It is a family run business and has been in the same family since 1981. In a rural setting, it is situated on the fringes of the Greensand Ridge Walk, perfect for ramblers or dog walkers. Dogs are welcome in the pub, a water bowl and biscuits provided for them! The Stone Jug is a 'proper local', serving quality real ale and home cooked lunches (food served Tuesday-Saturday 12-2pm).

It is with great sadness that Mark, Vikki and families bring the heartbreaking news that our funny, caring and loving Mum has passed away.
Her funeral will take place at Oakfields Gardens Crematorium, Fordfield Road, Steppingley, Beds. MK45 1AD on Monday 14th September at 11am. Joyce and family will leave from The Stone Jug, Clophill at 10.30am.
A celebration of her life (and what a life she had ❤️) will be held afterwards at The Stone Jug.
Mum loved bright colours so please be colourful ❤️
