FROM COFFEE TO 26.2 MILES!☕️🏃🏻
We’ve got some exciting news… one of our founders, Joe, is taking on the London Marathon 2027, raising money for a charity incredibly close to his heart, the RNLI! 🌊
Alongside running Blend, Joe is a volunteer crew member at Cleethorpes Lifeboat Station, something he’s hugely passionate about and dedicates a lot of his time to.
In September, he completed his first half marathon at the Great North Run for the RNLI. But apparently 13.1 miles wasn’t enough… so he’s decided to double it! 😂
The RNLI is a huge part of Joe’s life, and taking on London is his way of giving something back to the charity and the incredible volunteers who help save lives at sea.
Between running Blend, volunteering on the lifeboat and welcoming a baby girl in December, we’re not entirely sure where he’ll find the time to train! But with Emily, his wife and our other founder, firmly in his corner, we’re sure he’ll make it work! 🧡
We’ll be following Joe’s marathon journey and hopefully getting our lovely Blend community involved in the fundraising along the way!
