🍻 Joff here! 👋
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to have a kind word with me over the past week when popping into the Notts for a pint.
Honestly, your words mean more to me than you probably realise, and I really do appreciate every single one of you.

But don't worry, I won't be a stranger! After all, the Notts is a cracking place for a pre-match pint before heading off to watch the mighty Mariners! ⚽️🐟

🍻 HOW CAN I LEAVE WITHOUT MAKING SURE YOU'VE GOT A NIGHT WITH JUST PETE BOOKED IN?! 🎤🎶

That's right, Just Pete will be back with you all on Saturday 14th November from 7:30pm until he gets bored! 😂

If the last two gigs are anything to go by, you're in for another absolute marathon of a night! 🎶🍻
I'll see you all there, pint in hand having a little boogie

🌪️ AND REMEMBER…
Apparently, that storm blows people straight into the pub, you know! 😂
Well, the doors are wide open, and there's plenty of room for you all to come in, take cover and enjoy a few b**rs with us! 🍻
See you all soon, folks!

A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM JOFF

This isn't a post I was expecting to be making so soon, but unfortunately, this week will be my last week here at The Notts.
The reason is quite simple. I want to free myself up and create more time to spend with my friends and family, but most importantly, my son Taylor.

Believe me, this isn't a decision I've made lightly. I wanted to stay in this position, and I've loved what we've been building here at The Notts. But if staying means sacrificing precious time with Taylor, then I'd be selfish not to put him first. He's my priority, and I don't want to miss out on those moments with him that I'll never get back.
I'll be leaving a fantastic team behind, one that I genuinely believe can take this little pub to bigger and better things. They've got the passion, the ability and the heart to keep making The Notts a place the community of Cleethorpes can be proud of.
So please, show them the same support, kindness and encouragement that you've shown me. It means more than you realise, and I know they'll continue to do you all proud.
I've made some brilliant memories here, met some fantastic people, and I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved together in such a short space of time.
I'll still be about, so this isn't goodbye forever! 😂
Thank you all for making my time at The Notts so special. It's been an absolute pleasure.
Look after yourselves, look after the team, and keep supporting your local.
Joff x

🌺 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 🌺
With Remembrance Sunday fast approaching, we have our Poppy Appeal collection box alongside our poppies here at The Notts. ❤️

All we ask for a poppy is a donation of your choice. Every little helps towards supporting the Poppy Appeal and remembering those who have served and sacrificed so much for our country. 🇬🇧
Please grab yourself a poppy when you're next in and give what you can. ❤️

We will remember them. 🌺

Add the Remembrance Sunday date
Make the donation wording clearer

🍻 A lovely little CAMRA mission! 🍻
The first through the doors at the Notts today were three gents from Stockport, and they’ve got quite the mission on their hands! 🍺

Their goal? To have half a pint in every pub that supports CAMRA! 🍻 Now that’s a pub crawl with a purpose! 😂👏

It was an absolute pleasure having you three pop in and visit us at the Notts. Thanks again for calling in, supporting our little pub and enjoying a half with us! 🍺❤️

Good luck with the rest of your mission, lads… you’ve got a few more pubs to get through! 😂🍻

We are absolutely over the moon to announce that The Notts has made it into the Good B**r Guide 2027! 🎉🍻
We pride ourselves massively on the quality of the b**r we serve, from our perfectly conditioned cask ales to the rest of our range, so to see our little pub recognised in the Good B**r Guide 2027 is a bloody amazing achievement!
A huge thank you to everyone who walks through our doors, enjoys a pint, gives us feedback and supports what we're trying to do here at The Notts.
We're only a little pub, but we're bloody proud of what we're building! 🍺💪

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to compliment me, my team and the b**r. It genuinely means a lot. All we’re trying to do is create a great pub for the community of Cleethorpes, and your kind words certainly haven’t gone unnoticed by me or my small but mighty team! 💪🍺
Now then… we’re onto our LAST BARREL OF BASS! 😱🍻
So I want to know…
👇 What b**r would YOU love to see on our guest ale line next? 👇
