The sun is shining the temperature is turned up but our drinks are chilling. We are open and serving food until 6pm so come and enjoy our garden. ☀️🍻

This evening, we are honoured to be hosting a celebration of life for Emanuel “Manny” Aston.

Manny chose The Ragleth Inn as the place he wanted his family and friends to gather to remember him. We will never forget the day his parents shared his diagnosis with us. As a family who sits firmly within our local community — and as personal friends — we were both heartbroken and immensely proud that from the very beginning of his battle, Manny chose The Ragleth Inn as the place he wanted to bring together the people he loved.

Tonight, we will be honouring Manny’s wishes by opening our doors to those invited by the Aston family.

Over these past months, we have witnessed a family close to our hearts support Manny with unwavering love, ensuring he was able to make his own decisions throughout his journey — including this gathering, which he planned early on.

Manny was an avid Liverpool Football Club supporter. LFC welcomed Manny and his family to the club, where he had the chance to meet many of his heroes — a day that meant the world to him.

In keeping with Manny’s wishes, those attending this evening have been invited to wear red or, of course, an LFC shirt. As staff, we will be doing the same with pride and love.

Our thoughts are with Manny’s family, his friends, and everyone in our community who carries him in their hearts. Liverpool FC
