Sous Chef/Chef de Parti – Gastro Pub in the Chiltern Hills

A focal point for locals and tourists in an area of outstanding natural beauty we are looking for a Sous Chef or Chef de Parti progressing to the next level.
Using locally sourced produce from independent suppliers, we pride ourselves on our reputation for outstanding food, seasonal and innovative menus alongside CAMRA accredited real ales, and beverages.
Your creations together with commitment, customer focus and a collaborative manner means you will have the opportunity to showcase your abilities and enjoy a high level of job satisfaction in a fast paced, (up to 180 covers), friendly, supportive, environment. Our head chef Ollie, has a wealth of experience working in various restaurants up to and including Rosette and Michelin star status. The role will include assisting with the ordering and supporting him and his team in ensuring we maintain our reputation for excellence.

The hours of work are approx 40-48 hours per week spread over 5 days in split shifts, negotiable for the right candidate.

Salary dependent on experience and whether accommodation is required.

The Candidate:
We are a Small Kitchen Team That Have Been working together for the past 3 Years.
We are looking for the right person to slot into our system but also bring new ideas and show their strengths.
Ability to react to situations as they arise, keep calm and communicate in the right manner is a must.
All chefs have an input on new menus collectively.
We cook simple food with the emphasis on consistency and care.
Chefs to support the head chef and colleagues with ordering, maintaining high standards of hygiene within the kitchen and being proactive at all times.
