We just wanted to say a huge well done to our daughter Grace who has transformed this wall ahead of Remembrance day. At 14 years old, she came home from school every day and set to work with her paintbrush and a face full of concentration just so she could get it all finished. We're so pleased with how fantastic it looks and how much it brightens the area. If you haven't already seen it in person then it's worth popping in for a look. We're very excited to see what the next stage brings ☺️

Our remembrance wall is growing beautifully. Thank you to everyone who has sent in pictures. It's not too late if you would like to add to it, just pop us a message and we can print the pictures for you here.

Alongside our remembrance wall, we have been very lucky to have been given the opportunity to display these fantastic posters. We'd like to say a huge thank you to The Catterick Village Local History Group for being kind enough to provide these for us to have up over Remembrance weekend. The group meet every month here at The Bay Horse and are always happy to welcome new members to join them. If you're interested in learning more about the history of our lovely village then keep an eye out for posts regarding upcoming meetings.

*Remembrance Sunday*

As many of you will already be aware, the pub gets extremely busy for Remembrance day. As such, we will not be serving Sunday lunches this week. We will be back to normal Sunday food service next weekend and you can still enjoy 20% off a roast if you book your table in advance

We've had a great start to our memory wall for this year's Remembrance period but we would love to see it filled so if you have a picture of someone special who has passed and who served in our forces then please consider sending them over so they can be included. We are happy to print from digital copies so no need to worry about sending the original print

What an absolutely phenomenal Halloween we had here at The Bay. The costumes were fantastic, the music was incredible and the atmosphere was amazing. Thank you to all of you that came down and helped to make the night. And a huge thanks once again to Scapegoat York for coming and keeping the party going. We look forward to having them back 🎶🎸
