Thanks to everyone that supported Joe and I tonight. What a great night! My sister, Husband and family friend came down from Perth to surprise us. My sons Andrew and Scott came too it was great to be able to socialise with them(in front of the bar) Lisa and Naringa ( my daughter in laws came too) plus my lovely Grandchildren Caitlin and Aidan were here too. I am also very humbled as the cards and gifts we recieved were totally unexpected and I thank each and every one of you. Joe and I will miss the CROWN very much but it is time to go and enjoy all the time we have left. Hopefully we will be regulars of the Crown and we wish the new landlord and landlady all the very best and hope everyone will support them the way they have supported us. My memories are kicking in now, so many people we miss that should be here tonight, Dickie Green, Ted and Ivor Howlette,( Our wee) Dougie, Ray Collins, Ian Duncan, Lenny Furlow, Balf, My bestie Karen Lamont (who I miss like crazy). xx All I can now say is we will never forget our 27 years of running the CROWN, thank you Brompton On Swale ###xx

Evening all. We have the fabulous MALLY C here tonight singing sounds from the 50s 60s and 70s. Come early to get a seat. He starts at 9pm till late. Tomorrow night (Sunday) we have CLIVES ALIVE KARAOKE. Dont be late he starts at 8. Hope to see everyone here this weekend( its the last bank holiday before xmas) ###
