A little update about our Wednesday evenings: as Ember has become our evening menu, Steak Night hasn’t had quite the same appeal it once did. So we’ll be putting Steak Night on pause, apart from the December date we’ve already advertised.

While we decide what to do instead, we’ll be closed tonight, Wednesday 28 October, and on the last Wednesday in November, 25 November. We’ll use the time to get ahead with prep and catch up on a few maintenance jobs.

With the rain falling and the first two named storms of the season heading our way, we can think of somewhere much nicer to spend your Friday evening!

🎄 **CHRISTMAS AT THE STAG — LET US DO THE COOKING!** 🍽️

That lovely, slightly chaotic bit between Christmas and New Year… when nobody knows what day it is, the fridge is still full of leftovers and you've had quite enough of cooking, hosting and washing up!

**We've got just the excuse to get out of the house!** 🦌

We'd normally give the kitchen a well-earned break over Christmas, but this year we're opening for a few special food services so you can Gather with family and friends, catch up with people you haven't seen for ages, or simply enjoy a really good meal that somebody else has cooked!

🍻 BAR STAFF WANTED 🍻

We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic bar staff to join the team at The Stag Inn.

You’ll need to be 18 or over and available to work evenings and weekends. Previous experience is welcome, but a great attitude and a willingness to learn matter most.

We’re in a rural location with limited public transport, so being able to drive is an advantage.
