The Cocktail Bar is open 🍸

The lovely Holly will be around from 6pm this evening slinging out all your favourite drinks. If you fancy a nibble we also have some fabulous local meats and cheeses to curate your own charcuterie boards🧀

All the vibes being brought tonight, not to mention her epic playlist! You can book a table online or just pop in!

With summer on our doorstep we have updated our opening days & times for the cocktail bar as follows -

Friday 6-11pm
Saturday 6-11pm

This may be subject to change if the weather is nice, as we will open the spritz bar outside instead.

This weeks set saver menu is really something special. The meat course this week features braised duck leg, a chicory salad and the most addictive cider and mustard sauce.

Something for little appetites 🍴

You may have noticed we don’t have a ‘children’s menu’ so to speak. That’s because we know little taste buds change & often!

Instead we let them decide from our daily changing menu, with half portions of any of our main dishes & on a Sunday we even do a mini roast. For those that prefer the simple things we always have our triple cooked chips, homemade ketchup & either our house sausage or battered fish, just ask your server which is available on the day.

So if you need a little treat this half term weekend, and we all know you deserve one after a week with the kids in this heat, we’ve got you and them covered!

Fathers Day 🍻

Dads, lads and anyone with great taste - this one is for you. We have planned a weekend full of treats starting from the 19th June with the infamous sausage rolls from which will be available on the bar all weekend.
Think pints and pastries, from locally sourced ingredients made fresh daily alongside beers & ales from local breweries - as they should be.

On the 20th we have music from with the most amazing collection of tracks to choose from, we don’t doubt the dad dancers will be out in force.

Finally, on the 21st we have our classic Sunday service filled with all things indulgent and delicious to help you recover from the night before.

Our Sunday roasts are comprised of the best locally sourced ingredients, if we haven’t grown them ourselves that is. Butchered by our own chefs in house and topped with a jus that takes a week to prepare. We take care of everything on the plate so you can focus on taking care of the dad in your life this Father’s Day.

The kitchen is busy preparing this weeks’ dishes and we have some real beauties incoming. Like our homemade potato gnocchi, Isle of Wight Tomatoes & Fresh Basil.

You can find this dish and others on our ‘Set Saver Menu’ served on a Wednesday & Thursday between 6 & 7pm or a Friday lunchtime between 12-2:15pm.

We have a few tables free this evening 🍴

With the weather being so good to us this weekend, head chef Tom and his team have made the most of this seasons produce with lovely, light, bright dishes like our freshly made ricotta agnolotti or pan fried hake with Wye Valley asparagus & some of our classics like the crispy pig’s cheek.

May Bank Holiday ☀️

What a way to kick off this bank holiday weekend! The sun is shining, the beers are flowing and the garden is looking as gorgeous as ever!

We don’t take reservations for the garden but we do serve our bar menu out here while the kitchen is open!

This Sunday we also have our very first BBQ of the season with the lovely playing for us from 4pm, which you won’t want to miss!

So pop in, grab a bench & a menu and enjoy this before the weather realises this is actually Wales 🥴

This thirsty Thursday and for the rest of this glorious bank holiday for that matter, it’s all about the spritz!

We have an amazing array of them on from your classic Aperol to your Hugo’s.
