On Thursdays, the local livestock market attracts hundreds of farmers from all over the region and afar, who benefit from The Wilsey Down Pub being close by and providing the cafe/bistro for dinner and a warm and comfortable space to catch up with farming friends. Endlessly popular during the holiday season with visitors to the area, it is always wise to book ahead to dine at The Wilsey Down pub. Even out of season the Sunday carvery is very popular with locals so to avoid disappointment it really is advisable to call ahead to book a table. If you feel like treating yourself to afternoon tea, our cream teas are among the best in the area, so why not give us a try?
