​Cue the dry ice and dust off your finest 90s velvet jacket, because we are bringing the ultimate Saturday night nostalgia straight to the pub!

​Jacquai and her glamourous assistant Fred are hosting Caerwys's very own Stars in Their Eyes event on 4th July at 7:30pm, and the search is officially on for the finest musical lookalikes (and soundalikes) in town. It might be a bricklayer from down the road who transforms into Freddie Mercury, or a Bargin Booze cashier who hits the high notes just like Whitney Houston. Don't just hear about it or read about it in the Chron when you could be there and see it live!

​Here is what you need to know:

​The Transformation: Yes, we are figuring out how to work the smoke machine and not need to rely on Luke Thomas Ainscow's vapes.

​The Glory: Find out who in Caerwys is brave enough to channel their inner pop icon and sit back, grab a pint, and help us judge the talent.

​Tickets: Spaces are going faster than a Matthew Kelly introduced outfit change. It's only £5 quid each (fundraising directly to CPD Caerwys FC) and with limited availability due to Marquee seating, you are going to want to act fast and secure yours!

Have you ever seen a more majestic creature galloping down the final furlong? And to be fair, the horse isn't looking too bad either!

Tonight is the night! Get yourselves down to The Royal Oak for The Daniel Buchanan Winter League Presentation & RACE NIGHT.

As you can see, Dan has been training rigorously for this moment and while we can’t promise Olympic-level equestrian skills, we can promise a top-tier night of laughs, pints, and highly questionable betting strategies.
