This pubs been the heart of our family for near 42yrs, 6 years ago Darren and I bought it from my grandad as it was my dream and I did everything I wanted to do and for a few years it was just as I dreamed.
With the separation and covid it’s never been the same, Charlotte and I carried on as best we could but we both feel drained with it.
The pub needs to be sold as unfortunately it’s not just mine and Charlotte’s, we wanted to carry on until it sold but last week I was poorly and it was all down to stress, so we have decided to close and this Friday will be the last night 😞 we are very emotional about this so please don’t try to tell us we should do this and we should do that, 41 yrs gives us enough experience to know when it’s time to call time.
We would like to thank our regular loyal customers who have kept us going and Greenfield FC if it wasn’t for you we would have been closed a lot time ago so thank you x
Please join Charlotte and I on friday for our final night and hopefully when sold the new owners will keep it as a pub 🤞 Thank you xx
