Most of you know the story, but this weekend 2 years ago we opened the doors to The Frog ๐ป
Following Andrew's redundancy after decades (and a deep love for spreadsheets) with the same company, we decided to turn a tiny empty shop in Buxton into a tiny little pub.
He's an experienced home brewer and passionate about great beer (both the production and consumption side... ๐ป) and this comes through in his beer choices that he spends HOURS on and pretends it's a chore...
Cat had always had a pipe-dream of running her own pub one day (after a brief stint at it back in the 90s with an ex) but never thought the chance would arise, so when it did, she jacked in her job selling composite decking to the good people of Cheshire and The Frog was born!
What makes the place though, is you โค๏ธ
Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts, for your support and patronage ๐
We love our little Froggy community and we would be nothing without our amazing regulars โญโญโญโญโญ, the here again and gone again occasional visitors, and the holiday makers and tourists who pop in when they're passing.

This is Andrew having his first pint a couple of days before we threw the doors open to you all - plus a couple of new beers which have just gone on specially for today - we had to have a Nothing Bound Brewing Co as they are a great but lesser known brewery who featured on our first ever line-up on, and a Track Brewing Co. Gold Top DIPA - it's just not a party without it!?
Pop in, if you can. It's always lovely to see you โค๏ธ
