The Auld Hoose had some truly special visitors this weekend as we welcomed Chelsea Morris and her partner Jackson Reeves, who travelled all the way from Australia to reconnect with a piece of their family history right here in Kinghorn.

Chelsea has an emotional link to the Auld Hoose, her papa and great grandad were regulars here back in 1950’s, when the pub was at the heart of local life.

We believe the pub was well known for organising bus trips. (1st Picture taken below approx. 1956).

If you recognise anyone in the photo, a relative, a neighbour or a familiar face from the old days we’d love to hear from you.

A lovely couple with great chat and a real connection to the Auld Hoose!

Big thank you to Kinghorn Chronicle (Ginny Reid) for sharing our famous Auld Hoose Public House historical background with the Chronicle readers.

During our recent renovations we discovered 4 fireplaces which help cement the history of 3 previous houses.

We are so grateful to all our loyal customers who regularly visit us at the Auld Hoose helping to keep this beautiful building alive and open for all to enjoy! 🍻
