The Charity Quiz Night raised a phenomenal £1349 for Cancer Research UK & Mitre Impact (soon to be renamed, Impact Buckingham).

Karen, George & Sara hosted a fun and challenging quiz, thank you for another cracking night.

Unbelievably, our very own Hilary Whates won the quiz!! Their team Universally Challenged trounced the competition. Go Hils!!

Jo Sadler, aided by the marvellous Grace & Jasmine, raised a whopping £1043 on the raffle (included in the total above). We really appreciate the support of Buckingham’s finest businesses in donating a an amazing array of raffle prizes. These include:

Following the announcement of my sale of The Mitre — which until now has covered the administration costs of Mitre Impact — I want to make sure the charity's future is secure, especially as our support for Buckingham families will be more important than ever this summer.

Together with my fellow Trustees, we have decided to rename the charity IMPACT BUCKINGHAM, reflecting our continued commitment to supporting families in Buckingham and the surrounding areas.

Our work, our mission, and our charity number (1216036) all stay exactly the same — only the name is changing.

Keep an eye out for our new website, and you'll see the new branding rolling out across our social media channels over the coming weeks.

A massive thank you to these guys for playing the last couple of shows. Mark, Kate, James & Jamie are absolute pros and such a pleasure to rehearse and perform with.

Tonight I got to perform with Charlie too. I’m a mega proud Dad.

It has been an emotional but special run of shows to celebrate my 9 years as Landlord of The Mitre. To say goodbye to the staff and the Mitre family will be tough but we have made some last memories together which will stay in my heart forever.
