MEET THE MAKERS: SHROPSHIRE SALUMI 🍖

We’re delighted to introduce Shropshire Salumi, the wonderful local producers behind the delicious meats featured on our charcuterie and sharing boards here at the Pipe Makers Arms. 🍷🧀

Nestled in the beautiful south Shropshire countryside, Shropshire Salumi makes the most of the fantastic farming traditions we’re lucky to have on our doorstep. They use only high-welfare, outdoor-reared, traditional-breed pork and beef to create their delicious cured meats.

For us, it’s all about celebrating great local producers, knowing where our food comes from and bringing you lovely things to eat alongside a proper pint, a glass of w**e or a good natter with friends.

So, next time you fancy a little something to share (or perhaps don’t fancy sharing at all! 😉) you can rest assured we only use quality ingredients and as local as possible.

Local produce, proper good food, and a pub table made for sharing. ❤️

This boy Winston has won our very first Dog of the Week (well, first since 2024!)

What did he do to deserve this accolade and very coveted medal? Well, he brought his lovely parents in for a few drinks and even tested out the Sir Woofchester's doggy b**r without dribbling too much. He wasn’t so keen on the kibble, thought it was a bit dry for his palate, but hey, you can’t win ‘em all! ♥️

Those who’ve ordered a beautiful limited edition Pipe Maker’s tankard hand made by Lucy Young Ceramics can come and collect from the pub! There are still a few waiting to be collected 🤩

Tomorrow morning (Saturday 24th) we will be open from 9am for fresh coffee, tea and hot chocolate. We will also have a large selection of lovely pastries and cakes such as burnt Basque cheesecake, pain au chocolate, pastel de nata and carrot cake! Plus plenty more.

A warm welcome to our waiting and kitchen porters at the Pipe Makers!

Paige, Thalia and Dylan. Three lovely, smiley young people who’ll you’ll get to see around and about making sure all the glasses are clean and the food gets to the table in good time. They also seem to be making some TikTok videos (kids do this apparently!) so feel free to follow if you’re young enough to use TikTok 😬

But also an opportunity to thank our local business OWL Apparel who provided us with these great T-shirts for all the staff. A really brilliant and friendly company should you need any printed or embroidered workwear 🤩

So many of you have asked to buy our b**r glasses (rather than steal them!) or other merchandise to support our little pub! We are pleased to say that a small number of pint glasses are available for £5. We also have tea souvenir tea towels featuring the beautiful illustration by Helen Wheeler for £10 and a small number of limited edition tankards by Lucy Young Ceramics for £52!
