The first game of the league seen the pht team take the short trip to the top end of lamlash
Like last year there was almost nothing between the side and so that continued on the night, 3-3 was the score before the gallon . LGC took the lead by winning the gallon pht dug back with 2 doubles wins out of 3 making the score line 5-5 on the night a great start to an exciting league.
Another similar score line on the night seen BGC(1) play BGC(2) however it was a slightly different game the golf clubs 1st team found themselves 4-2 down, things got worse as they lost the gallon aswelll. However last year’s champions had some fight left and won all the doubles games to steal a 5-5 draw with a great BGC (2) team
The final game of the night seen lagg bar play the lagg hotel team
The first 4 games were close and then the hotel team piled on the pressure against last years runners up taking the game to them with 3 on the bounce and winning the gallon included. The bar thought back winning 2 doubles games however the damage was too much as the hotel won the final doubles game making the score line 7-3 to the hotel a great win over last years runners up a great start for the hotel team
2/11/26
A surprise team in this year’s league the Kinloch team faced shiskine golf club on their new table. The kinloch found themselves on the receiving end of a slightly more one sided match as they were trailing at the break 5-1
It got worse for them as the golf clubs took the gallon and 2 of the 3 doubles games to take the nights scoreline to 8-2 well done SGC a good win to start off
Unlucky Kinloch team
