Get ready to sing, dance, stomp and generally misbehave with The Dylegans at The Bristol Fringe! 🤠🔥
Bristol’s very own masters of folk-abilly are bringing a high-energy four-piece show packed with Country, Folk, Rock ’n’ Roll & Skiffle — plus drums, electric guitar and a whole lot of swagger.
Expect toe-tapping grooves and proper crowd-pleasers from Lonnie Donegan, Bob Dylan, Elvis, Marc Bolan, Dire Straits, The Undertones and more… all given the unmistakable Dylegans treatment. 🎸🥁

After a string of sold-out hometown shows, Bristol’s own Faith In Strangers are hitting the road for their debut tour — and they’re bringing it home to The Bristol Fringe this Wednesday, September 9
Expect rich three-part harmonies, strings and expansive guitar-led arrangements, blending emotionally charged indie folk with the sounds of Ben Howard, Nick Mulvey and Mumford & Sons
This is a band which is quickly becoming one of the UK’s most exciting emerging indie folk acts

Saturday is Clifton Village Day; I hope you're all as excited as we are!

To celebrate, we've got a full itinerary of classically-Fringe fun to enjoy:

First off, we're opening at midday to get the party started early! 🥳

From 1pm-5pm we’ll be serving up some delectable crêpes, courtesy of The Rolling Crepes - Bristol 🥘

Alongside the food, Clifton's favourite cowboy PM Legrand will be taking over our front room stage, performing his americana-laden folk magic live from 3pm-5pm! 🤠

Speaking of magic, our in-house magician Marc Long will be returning for his infamous Saturday magic shows, this time preforming his spells in our back room from 5pm-8pm!🪄

As we head into the evening, DJ PJ Hips makes her triumphant return to our back room stage, spinning the finest latin-funk, disco and tropicalá selections to keep your knees up and your body grooving! 🎉

It's free entry for all of the above! We can't wait to commemorate our lovely little neck of the woods with you all!

Join us for a night of poetry and spoken word at Infringed Poetry.
Whether you're a seasoned performer or a secret scribbler, this is your space.
Sign up from 7.30pm (get there early!) for an 8pm start
24 slots available at 5 minutes each
Tickets are minimum £4 on the door, available in advance (preferred) or on the night
If this is your first time performing you can attend and perform for free !
It is advised to arrive early at 7pm to ensure a slot

Monday kicks off with our favourite jazz manouche Hot Club Jam at 8pm, hosted by swing specialist Joseph Elliott Trudgeon and co!🎸

Tuesday brings Infringed Poetry at 8pm, our monthly spoken word open mic! Sign up from 7:30pm. 🖋️

Wednesday features Marc Long’s Magic Night at 6:30pm, then Faith in Strangers at 8:30pm for the second week running. Emotionally charged indie folk with rich harmonies and expansive arrangements; if you missed them last week, don’t miss them again. ✨

Thursday welcomes The King Chameleon at 8:30pm. A lofi beats project turned jazz fusion four-piece with over 5 million streams worldwide, definitely not one to miss out on! 🎺

Friday reintroduces The Dylegans to the Fringe front stage at 9pm. Bristol’s masters of folk-abilly, delivering skiffle, country, rock n roll and folk with toe-tapping grooves and singalong choruses!

Saturday is Clifton Village Day and we are throwing a party! Open from 12, we’re serving up delectable crêpes from 1pm-5pm, while Clifton’s favourite cowboy PM Legrand will be performing his dark-americana magic live from 3pm-5pm! As we head into the evening, we are excited to welcome back the mercurial DJ PJ Hips to our back room, spinning the finest latin-funk, disco and tropicalá selections to keep you dancing into the night! 🎉

Sunday sees the return of with Larkham And Hall at 5:30pm, an award-winning Americana-soul songwriting duo with exceptional lyrical flair. Following this, the Jazz Rapport Jam with Andy Nowak closes out the week at 8:30pm. 🎤
